The Position:
 
Chameleon Integrated Services is currently looking for an IS and Cyber Security Professional to support one of our federal clients at Peterson AFB.
 
This position requires a Top-secret security clearance
 
Overview:

In support of Network/Cyberspace Operations mission, perform tasks including Vulnerability Management Operations -- Administer, operate, update, patch, configure, develop, integrate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain vulnerability management systems, tools, tactics, techniques and procedures.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Complete tasks designed to ensure the security of the organization's systems and information assets.
  • Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction and develops IT security policies and standards.
  • Works with end users to determine the needs of individual departments.
  • Implements policies or procedures and tracks compliance throughout the organization.
  • Conduct network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies.
  • Perform vulnerability assessment using AF-provided tools. This task includes:
    • Scanning, tracking, recording, and reporting vulnerabilities using government-provided tools.
    • Reporting and uploading scan results to the DISA's Vulnerability Management System (VMS) tool, or its successor, on a monthly or as-needed basis for Air Force Base (AFB) to review and remediate.
  • Perform patch management for servers, workstations, and infrastructure devices.
  • Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and provide technical solutions for Air Force End Point Protection System agents and endpoint products for all AF clients.
  • Conduct and manage End Point Protection operations for securing AF client systems.
Ensure compliance with approved security updates, patches, baselines, associated orders, and network defense directives for all AFIN infrastructure and devices.

Education & Experience:
 
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and 2 - 4 years of related experience


Certs Required:
  • IAT II – CySA+, or Security+ (or equivalent), or higher
  • DISA ACAS Version 5.3
Certs Preferred
  • ITIL v4 Foundation

  • Top Secret
