The Position:
Chameleon Integrated Services is currently looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Reviewer to support one of our local clients in Downers Grove, IL.
Overview:
The QA/QC Reviewer is responsible for independently reviewing all proposed and existing project work products to ensure they meet the contract company’s quality standards and requirements. They should be well-versed in roadway processes, and construction, design, and construction management requirements and procurement processes.
This is a contract role that will have a start date of January 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality standards: Creating and maintaining quality control procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Conduct quality audits: Assessing processes, products, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor quality metrics: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance.
- Identify and analyze quality issues: Investigating root causes of quality problems and recommending corrective actions.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives: Developing and implementing strategies to enhance product or service quality.
- Examining products or services to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conducting tests and evaluations to verify product or service performance.
- Recording findings and generating reports.
- Communicating quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in quality assurance/quality control, statistics, business, engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
