Role:  Sr. Information Specialist - This is a remote opportunity

Senior Information Assurance / Cybersecurity / RMF Specialist for DHA application accreditation and cyber compliance.  Senior IA/cybersecurity specialist with federal or DoD system authorization experience.

The candidate must understand RMF, ATO maintenance, POA&M management, vulnerability remediation coordination, security control evidence, privacy/security training tracking, and secure release support.

The PWS requires cybersecurity activities to maintain compliance with DHA policy and accreditation.
  • RMF package maintenance
  • ATO sustainment
  • Vulnerability scan review
  • CAT 1/CAT 2 finding remediation tracking
  • STIG checklist review
  • POA&M updates
  • Coordination with ISSO/ISSM
  • Privacy/security training tracking
  • PII/PHI protection
  • Incident response support
  • Security impact analysis for releases
  • Cyber review of code/configuration changes
Participation in release readiness reviews.  The PWS performance standard requires code delivery without CAT 1 or CAT 2 security findings, and software deliveries without severity level 1 or 2 defects or clusters of severity level 3 defects.

Strong preference: DHA, MHS, DoD Health IT, eMASS, ACAS, STIG, SCAP, CMRS, HBSS/ESS, DISA STIG Viewer, POA&M, RMF control evidence, and HIPAA/Privacy Act experience. The role should also understand PII/PHI handling because the solicitation emphasizes DR and production data export/sanitization/load into Pre-Production for testing.

Certifications to prioritize: Security+ CE minimum screen; CISSP, CISM, CAP/CGRC, CASP+, CEH, GSEC, HCISPP, or other DoD 8570/8140-aligned certifications.
